About the Role

Deloitte is looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Quality Engineer to join its Analytics Horizontal team. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability, accuracy, usability, and security of analytics solutions, reports, dashboards, and AI applications.

Under the guidance of experienced quality engineers, you will translate requirements into structured test scenarios, execute manual tests, document defects, and support release testing. You will receive extensive training on analytics platforms, testing practices, and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer, you will be involved in:

• Working with leads, developers, and analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Preparing and maintaining test scenarios, detailed test cases, and requirement traceability.
• Executing functional, integration, system, regression, and API testing across dashboards and AI applications.
• Validating reports and dashboards for data accuracy, filters, visual behavior, and performance.
• Using SQL and source-to-target comparisons to verify data completeness and accuracy.
• Testing ETL/ELT workflows, file and API integrations, and cloud-based data processes.
• Identifying, documenting, prioritizing, tracking, and reporting defects with clear reproduction steps.

• Participating in Agile ceremonies, defect triage, and test-status reporting.

Required Skills

Technical & Domain Skills (Candidates should have):

• Foundational understanding of software testing, SDLC, and defect life cycle.
