About the Role

IQVIA is looking for an enthusiastic Product Support Trainee to perform a variety of production execution activities for over 80 countries globally on their critical deliverables.

This role involves ensuring high accuracy and quality, implementing process enhancements and automations, providing quality assurance, answering queries from Local Offices for EMEA & LATAM regions, and delivering first & second level break-fix support for Mainframe-Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

As a Product Support Trainee, you will be involved in:

• Executing, Monitoring, 1st level fixing and 2nd level escalating of production processes.
• Reporting and rerunning production processes as defined in Schedule.
• Providing First & Second level break-fix support for Mainframe-Infrastructure and its components.
• Participating in Root Cause Analysis as appropriate and ensuring daily process/procedures remain accurate.
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and reporting/resolving interruptions or problems in system processing and hardware anomalies.
• Providing 24X7 Production support which involves escalation and immediate fixes for production abends.
• Monitoring batch cycles for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly jobs and reporting statistics to the client.
• Ensuring timely completion of batch cycles and investigating long-running jobs for loop back issues.

Required Skills

Job Skill Requirements (Candidates should have):

• Basic knowledge on Mainframe, JCL, COBOL, ESP, REXX.
• Fair knowledge in MS Excel, MS Power Point, Power BI etc.

Preferred Skills

The following knowledge is preferred but not a pre-requisite:

• Pharmaceutical industry knowledge will be an added advantage.
