The selected candidates will work with Medpace's Information Technology team to design, develop, and support enterprise data solutions while gaining hands-on experience with modern data engineering technologies.

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will become part of Medpace's Information Technology team and contribute to projects involving data warehousing, ETL development, business intelligence, database management, and reporting solutions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build technical expertise while working on enterprise-scale data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Develop and support data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
• Work with databases including Snowflake, SQL Server, ANSI SQL, and T-SQL.
• Support ETL and ELT development using tools such as dbt, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS.
• Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
• Collect, analyze, and document user requirements.
• Participate in software validation by developing and reviewing test plans and test cases.
• Develop software applications following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with team members on development projects and technical solutions.
• Provide end-user support, including application setup, installation, and maintenance.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Internship experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Good analytical, written, and communication skills.
