Key Responsibilities

• Define system requirements and system interface specifications for vehicle diagnostic systems.
• Work on engineering activities for locomotive projects and develop software solutions for worldwide use.
• Gather, analyze, and structure software requirements and create solution concepts.
• Develop software architectures for data remote transmission.
• Integrate and develop external devices with vehicle control systems for diagnostics management and landside communication.
• Develop software for embedded systems using the Linux operating system.
• Provide technical support to other development engineers.
• Communicate and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Perform software integration and testing to ensure functionality on vehicles.
• Implement upgrades and new application software with end-to-end responsibility using the V-model approach.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
• Initial experience in technical development projects is preferred.
• Experience in structured and object-oriented software development for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of C++ and Python with the Linux operating system.
• Basic knowledge of requirement engineering, configuration, and change request management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work systematically and independently.
